Who are we?
This is the privacy statement of Chip&Cool, a garage in Den Bosch. You can reach us on 06 12118066, at chipencool@outlook.com or at Graaf van Solmsweg 99E 44, 5221 BM 's-Hertogenbosch. We are responsible for processing your data as described below.
What data do we process?
We only process the data you share with us when you get in touch by phone, WhatsApp or email: your name, phone number, email address, details about your vehicle and the description of your question or issue. Your browser also remembers your language preference (the cc-locale value) so the site opens in your own language.
Why and on what basis?
- To answer your question and carry out an appointment or repair (performance of the contract).
- To keep our records and invoices (legal obligation).
- To remember your language preference (functional storage, legitimate interest).
Cookies and local storage
We do not place tracking or advertising cookies. The only storage is your language choice (cc-locale). If we use visitor statistics, we do so with Plausible Analytics: cookieless and without personal data.
Who do we share data with?
Only with parties needed to help you: Microsoft (our email), Meta/WhatsApp (if you message us on WhatsApp) and Google (if you click a route link to Google Maps). We never sell your data.
How long do we keep data?
- Contact messages (email/WhatsApp): up to 2 years after handling.
- Customer data and service history: up to 5 years after last contact.
- Invoicing data: 7 years (statutory retention for the Tax Authority).
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also object to processing, have it restricted or have your data transferred. Contact us to do so. Not satisfied? You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
